some things bother me.

Lately, I haven't been my perfectly happy self. I'm not sure what the deal is. I have a couple of ideas..

1) Either classes aren't challenging me enough, or I'm not letting them challenge me enough. I know I shut down when things get too hard, but I can only think of about ten times when I have truly been challenged.

2) I'm freaking out because things are going too well in my life right now.

3) I'm getting sick.

4) Graduation isn't that far away, and I'm rather sure I'm not going anywhere I'd ever expected.. Top things on my list now are 1) Teaching English as a Second Language in the US 2) Peace Corp in China 3) Something Non-Profit related.

5) It's Christmas.. and to be frank, sometimes the holidays suck for me.

Today, I wore sweatpants... I know this doesn't happen often, but I thought I would give it a try.

Here's the response:

My Boss, 8AM: "Ashley are you feeling okay?"
Me: "Yes."
My Boss: "I don't think so, how about you just do mailings today.."
Me: "k..."

My Boss, after 10 minutes: "I really don't think you feel well.. you aren't even wearing jeans today... you should leave early."

I left early. Score. Sweatpants on Ashley= illness.

thanksgiving.

This year my dad and mom both decided to have a Thanksgiving lunch. I ended up making it to both lunches, and then had a little party at my moms! :)

Look for pictures soon, but I have to work really early tomorrow, and all day for that matter.

What gets me up

I almost didn't get out of bed this morning.. However a few things helped me.

The part that says "How old are you?" is obviously not right, he said "What year are you in school?"

Plans.

They always change.

Life updates people should be aware of:

1. Ghana- it may not happen, more Central students need to apply
(BUT I may go back to Haiti over spring break, let me pray on it for a while)

2. Dating- Beau and I are not together. Sometimes things sound like a great plan, but I tried to hard. I need to start thinking on my own two feet and not following everyone's rules.

3. Work- I'm going to start working more.

4. Facebook- It needs to be open less, I all up for hours on skype chatting, but if I need to know something about your life, freakin' tell me. I don't need to creep your page to figure something out, so don't expect me to.

the dentist.

Today, I was supposed to have 2 root canals. Instead, I get one.. and the dentist says "You need to get an implant." He's not talking about breasts, he is talking about my tooth.

Awesome. Not only am I having muscle correction surgery for my eyes, but now I'm getting a fake tooth.

First off, I don't really enjoy getting money, I prefer seeing what people think I would enjoy. However, I will be living in an apartment soon (over the summer and hopefully in Chicago), and therefore need some more *practical* items.
